Send what you know, why it matters and what you can share to editors@example.com. If you need to establish terms before you say anything substantive, say so first and we will agree them before you send details. We do not publish the identity of a source who has asked for anonymity, and we do not confirm to third parties that someone contacted us.

Corrections

If we have published something inaccurate, tell us which article and which sentence, and include the evidence if you have it. Verified factual errors are corrected on the page with a dated note explaining what changed. We do not quietly edit and we do not delete articles to make an error disappear.

Rights and permissions

Short quotations with a link back are fine without asking. For republication, translation or syndication of a full article, write to us first and include where it will appear and for how long.

Advertising

We sell placements against the site rather than against individual stories. Advertising enquiries go to the same address; please include your campaign window and the formats you are interested in.

Response times

We read everything. We aim to reply to tips and correction requests within two working days, and to commercial enquiries within five. A reply is not a commitment to publish.
